Lab Class

Our lower secondary science practical gives students a deeper appreciation of the science theory they have learnt in a fun and interactive way. Through these practical lessons, students will build a strong foundation in handling apparatus and conducting experiments that is essential in upper secondary. Our O Level science practical (Chemistry/Physics/Biology) covers different types of experiments and the relevant skills required to excel in students O Level science practical examination. Students will get ample of practice and individualise support that will build their confidence.

R.E.A.L Learning Approach

Recall key science concepts

Explain and Express ideas with clarity

Apply concepts to exam-style questions

Link and connect concepts across topics and in real life

Lab Schedule

Electricity & Rheostat

An engaging hands-on lab where students explore how electrical circuits can be controlled using a rheostat. Through practical investigations, students will learn how changing resistance affects current flow, brightness, and energy transfer in a circuit. This lab develops scientific inquiry skills while strengthening students’ understanding of electrical principles and real-world applications.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Why is a lab class necessary for Science learning?
Lab classes are essential because Science is not just about memorising facts. It is about understanding how concepts work in real life.

Through hands-on experiments, students learn to observe, measure, analyse results, and draw conclusions based on evidence.

Without regular lab exposure, many students struggle to apply concepts during tests and practical exams. Lab classes help students develop scientific thinking, confidence with apparatus, and deeper conceptual understanding, which cannot be achieved through theory lessons alone.

Exam Paper Review

Submit your school papers for review after each exam and together we spot strengths and learning gaps, decode tricky questions and exam techniques and plan what to focus on next term.

Every exam becomes a valuable learning opportunity

1-to-1
Clarity Consultation

A one-to-one consultation where teachers help students to set clear learning goals, receive targeted coaching on weak areas and map out an action plan for success.

It’s a personalised guidance that turns weaknesses into strengths.

SCI-CORE Profilier

A personalised progress summary highlighting strengths, areas to improve, and clear action steps for the term. Unlike school reports that come only at the end, ours is shared before major exams so students can act early. Parents may also book a call with the tutor to discuss the profile in detail.

It’s not just a report — it’s a roadmap to improvement.

SCI Masterclass

Focused revision sessions on key topics taught in the term. Each Masterclass reinforces understanding, sharpens mastery, and strengthens long-term retention that help students feel confident and exam-ready.

LAB + Experience

Our Secondary LAB+ help students gain confidence handling lab equipment, mastering practical skills, and preparing for Lower Secondary and O-Level practical exams.

For Primary levels, fun sensory experiments connect directly to classroom topics that builds curiosity, reinforcing scientific keywords, and processing skills and answering technique framework. Each child also receives a take-home lab kit to continue exploring Science beyond the classroom!

R.E.A.L Methodology

Recall → Explain → Apply → Link
Our step-by-step approach breaks tough concepts into simple, bite-sized parts. Using active recall and spaced repetition, students build stronger memory and deeper understanding.

Once students understand the concept, we guide them through the right thought process to apply their knowledge and connect ideas across topics. This helps them see the bigger picture and makes Science logical, meaningful, and easier to master.
